Thanks. I am using the windows version. 

I tried that but it just copies a single aspx file then 
says it is finished.

I can go a level deeper beyond the password screen and 
catch a link by the proxy method which works OK but if I 
try to repeat the process in order to perform an update at 
a later date it reverts all the previously downloaded files 
to zero bytes and begins a fresh download of each of them. 
As some of them are up to 50mb and there are several 
hundred, and I have a slow connection, this is unfortunate.

I need to do a daily update check for new files such as 
promos etc. I have played with all the settings I can think 
of but it deletes all the previously downloaded files every 
time even tho most of them have not changed. 

The updating process seems so simple from the positive 
comments in the faq but either I am not getting it right or 
I have struck an anomaly.
