Generally, For HTTrack or any Web Browser, to reach a page, it requires the
link.
You wanted to download unlinked files from a specific address.
If I rephrase that in a positive way, you want to include the unlinked files
with your mirror. For that, you have to know the links first, and then add
them to scan rules as I have said earlier. Possible reason for this not
working can be due to W3C validator/proper privilege/session. If those are the
cases, you can find more specific details by searching the forum.
On the contrary, if your sole purpose is to download some unlinked files, not
a mirroring a site, you have to know the links first. Then, you can give the
list to HTTrack. HTTrack is unable to know the links to unlinked files all by
itself.
Now, if you say isn't there a way to trick the server to handover the unlinked
files to you? The answer is may be or may not be. However, how this could be
done is beyond the scope of this forum and that would be improper behavior.
