It's like Greek to me! (non-programmer)

Before I try to figure out any of the programming, do you think it is
something that is easy or difficult for someone who knows what they are doing?
Right now it looks very difficult to me, so if it would be difficult for
someone who knows what they are doing, then I shall consider it insurmountable
for me.
