Does "Rewrite=Original/Original" work in the HTML links?  So only the files
themselves are being given the .html extension?  Must be what Xavier meant
when he said that HTTrack always gives extensionless files an extension.

I doubt it could be helped using HTTrack, however if the HTML link rewriting
is okay, then perhaps just use a file renaming tool to remove the ".html"
where possible... depends on your situation.

Or use .htaccess to rewrite/map URLs to the correct filenames?
