Yep, happy to report that after a few days of mirroring, it is still going
fine. No random closes as yet (looks like winhttrack is just very badly
multi-core compatible), and haven't been any random mirror pauses as yet
either (mirroring suddenly pausing and not ever restarting right in the middle
of a mirror, I had actually thought that this was just down to very bad error
handling, that the program could not handle the particular html file it was
downloading and rather than reporting it as an error, it just went into an
infinite loop).
