I'm not abusing a site as I'm downloading one for my friend who doesn't have
internet but wants to reference plants on his organic farm. However, I am a
paranoid, and usually browse through a proxy for no particular reason, but I
like to do that.  To do that, I just go to a proxy site and enter a url into
field, and off I go.  I don't understand how one does that with htttrak.  I
found a list of anonymous IP's with ports in the next column over and tried
entering those into the proxy setting box, but when I went to get the site
nothing happened, so it seemed the communication was stopping at the proxy. 
Searches on proxy in this forum produced lots of answers about how to find
proxy sites, but those all have to have the url manually entered into a field. 
I even tried to enter a text url into the proxy settings field in httrack, but
that didn't work.  Can you give me a couple of steps to follow, ideally with a
known working proxy server so if it doesn't work I can rule out the server?
