it has been a week now , i tried to compile winhttrack but
no luck .

i read the post of someone who had similar problems to
mine but also no luck .please lets start from scratch :

- ms visual c++ is installed and working .
- download winhttrack , and open the work space in the IDE
- download zlib library and extract it in :
c:\program files\winhttrack\src_win\winhttrack\zlib
- download openSSL and extract it in :
c:\program files\winhttrack\src_win\winhttrack\openssl

now upon compiling you will encounter the error :
LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input
file "C:\Dev\zlib\dll32\zlib.lib"

i understand that i have to download an additional library
to compile the library i download to compile
winhttrack !!!!! ooooh , my head !

now , isn't it possible to provide me a link to a
compressed file containing the
directory "C:\Dev\zlib\dll32" ,
so i can compile directly ?
----------------
cygwin :
i downloaded setup.exe from the home page of www.cygwin.com
when running this file i have to select the desired files
to download from a list of more than 100 nested files .

you told that other poster Ahmad , to look for the binary
files and perl , i did not find any of them !!!!
