OK, somehow (although this didn't happen previously) the index.html has been
rebuilt by the prog and it contains now only the projects that are alive.

However, the MRUD (I said MUD in my last post) list still contains the
unwanted projects.  I am using the portable version and cannot find where this
info is being stored.
