And I answered what I thought the problem was and possible causes.

THEN you replied "Right, but why is httrack throwing up this error..." Why,
why, why, with NO additional information to help this user help you. Go back
and read what you wrote. <http://forum.httrack.com/readmsg/27332/27326> No
mind-readers here. I had to get out the pliers to get additional information -
gets very old after a while.

Now I know the site, your filters and your settings.
I ran site/filters with my usual settings and had no problem. HTTrack Website
Copier/3.43-12 mirror complete in 1 hours 6 minutes 47 seconds : 2536 links
scanned, 2535 files written (95938895 bytes overall), 2533 files updated
[75309094 bytes received at 18794 bytes/sec], 25597553 bytes transfered using
HTTP compression in 646 files, ratio 15%, 1.2 requests per connection

The site has long directory and file names. I'm thinking that you're exceeding
the maximum path length or something.

I ran with local structure = xx in web/xx
