Subject: .tmp files and the problem of continuing a mirror

I know there are already some topics about the .tmp files.

Anyway I have to refresh that issue and formulate my specific concern:

I really like HTTrack but after a system crash while HTTrack was downloading a
big webproject I got into trouble with going on (continue it).

The rules for 'creating .tmp files' and 'overwriting still existing files' and
the situation of 'having corrupted, because unfinished downloaded files' is
confusing me.

So, why isn't there an option which just compares the file structure web<->hd,
copies the file if missing and compare the size of both files (web<->hd) if it
already exists on the hd to decide if it has to be replaced (working without
these cache stuff) !?Would make it fantastic easy to work with...

Or at least an action, which focus on finishing the .tmp files.

I'm happy about every guidance!

Best regards,
Clemens
