| Hello,
Ok, I am trying to Capture login information but the proxy it gives me is ill
defined and also doesn't work. I have used the both latest versions of Firefox
and IE 9. IE 9 won't even accept the information for the proxy, it just blanks
all information out once added. Here is what I am getting when I click Capture
URL
Please TEMPORARILY set your browser's proxy preferences to:
Proxy's address:
fe80::e569:7747:eb18:59b9%10
Proxy's port:
8080
Note the address is not really an address.
1.) I am leaving the fields for a new address blank when I click Capture URL,
get same type of results above.
2.) Even entering in a URL / web address, same results.
This is a form type user name and password deal.
Isn't there way a way to manually add the needed information like creating the
information or type of information that Capture would use? Heck, what does it
put in the URL anyhow?
There should be an option that allows you to create a form submission using
basic HTML that this program can use to get its session type cookie and store
it. Such as, and without certain html markers included in this example.
form action=http://members.somesite.com/login.php method=post
input id="name" type="text" name="username" value="your user name"
or
input name="name" type="text" name="username" value="your user name"
input name="password" type=password value="your password goes here"
or in some cases password forms use id as user name fields
input id="password" type=password value="your password goes here"
and added the submit if needed of the program knows what to do.
I using the latest Win 7 and supported software. This is a high end computer,
custom build, not some store built piece of crap, no offense to those owning
them, they just won't fit my needs AT ALL.
So what is the deal here with the Proxy, and why can't, or is there a way to
add needed information manually and type in an address in a manner the Capture
URL tries to add?
Thanks,
John
