Well, title says it all.
I have updated a backup of a site, more than once, and I noticed that many
pages have changed the htm extension they have in the server to html, though
not all of them (perhaps only the ones that are updated?) and possibly more
files are renamed in each update.

Any reason for this to happen and how to solve it?
