I am for the first time copying down one of my websites to my local harddrive
using httrack and i noticed that many images are stored on my harddrive as
HTML files. I have to rename them to .JPG to see them.
Is this a bug or some setting i missed? I just use the command-line httrack
<URL>, nothing else.

httrack 3.48-20 on Raspberry Pi B running up-to-date rasbian.
