If you don't have the answers yet to assist in this project, you can try to use
the internet archive to save the web site on the Wayback Machine. It saves web
sites exactly as they are, if they can be crawled. Not sure if Forums can be
crawled. For example, I saved the home page you linked above today. 

There is an upload command (it is the up arrow in the upper right corner of
the home page). Perhaps you can push the site owner to archive it at least.
Again, he/she might have to remove any robot files that prevent crawling.
