Subject: Do not have permission?

Did a search on this forum for "permission" but already
tried disabling robots.txt & used the first browser ID
listed "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)".

I use only 2 simul connections and do not abuse bandwidth.
I'm only wanting to see what other subfolders are in a
higher subfolder. I have already downloaded some doc files
from a URL such
as <http://www.web.com/main/Docs/abc/abc01.doc> and I'm
just looking to see what else is available
at <http://www.web.com/main/Docs/*/*.doc>. When I try to
access the "Docs" folder with the above wildcards, trying
different combinations of settings, I either get a redirect
to the home page or notified about not having permission.
Just pasting <http://www.web.com/main/Docs/> in IE's address
bar gives me the "do not have permission".

Is there any way to access this "Docs" folder & see what
other subfolders are there? TIA
