Which site URL are you trying to mirror?Which image links don't work? 

In general: 
  See if Option>>ScanRules allows image non-links
      (Online>>Open image in new window) 
      (Right-Click>>check image properties for URL)
      (Is it the same URL the link was for?)
  See if Option>>Limits>>mirror depth is deep enough
