| I use WinHTTrack Website Copier 3.32-2 (+swf) under W2K and
I experience a problem related to the topic discussed in
the message:
<http://forum.httrack.com/readmsg/5943/5925/index.html>
(fetching links of the url-type file://...)
WinHTTrack gets the files and stores them. But I can't open
them in the local website copy with IE6.0.
The original link is like:
<file://server/share/dir/document.doc> (just plain HTML)
WinHTTrack converts the link to the document in the HTML
page to:
<file:///C:/HTTrackBasedir/HTTrackProject//server/share/dir/d>
ocument.doc
where the double slashes between 'HTTrackProject'
and 'server' make it impossible to follow the link. After
removing one slash manually, the link works fine.
