The hostname command returns

linux

but the ping linux and ping `hostname` instructions give the
same message, "unknown host."

However, I just discovered that using
<http://localhost:8080> instead of <http://linux:8080>
works! I remember using "ping localhost" and it worked, but
for some reason I didn't think of trying that in a browser.

Maybe I can change the webhttrack script to use the
"localhost" URL instead. Not sure why the host name doesn't
work.

By the way, when I run the webhttrack script, I get the
following output as the browser is launched, but it doesn't
appear to affect anything. Is it normal?
travise@linux:~> webhttrack
