Is this your "Elite Trader" forum?  Was meaning to reply to 
that.  Here's a quick solution:

The single project URL is going to be:

<http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/>

Then in the filters, remove what is there and put:

-*
+*.jpg +*.gif +*.png +*.css +*.js
+www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php*
+www.elitetrader.com/vb/forumdisplay.php*

I would suggest being even more strict and also appending 
the following filters:

-www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php*goto=lastpost*
-www.elitetrader.com/vb/forumdisplay.php*sortorder=*



Xavier is looking into setting up a Questions/Answers site. 
That would be a good place for us to add these forum type 
solutions.
