I've recently noticed, that httrack also hangs loading images dynamically
created by eg. LaTeX.
Is there any way to get aound this?

Many of the images are loaded fine, as they're probably automatically saved
when created.
After downloading some 2,5 megabytes, httrack hangs with CPU usage at 100%. It
crashed loading images. My best bet is that those images are dynamically
created.
