Err.. this is a missing feature that is "to be included one day" (as in the
"TODO" list), which which will require some design changes.

This will take some time, and I don't plan to include it "soon". But don't
give up - the "don't use HEAD requests to test link types" changes was just
added in the 3.40-beta series, after being 4 years on the "TODO list" :p
