When I click on the links to the pdfs, they do not open.  It seemed like the
logical thing to try was "open in new window" and that did not work either.  I
questioned whether the files were corrupt, so I went to the folder and was
able to open them directly without any problems. The only errors in the log
that I found were related to the sidebar, not to the pages with the links to
the pdf files.
