Is it possible to create an "inflated" number of views by mirroring a forum
improperly? (IE - backing up the same page mutiple times through different
links, like "last post" links under a user's name, etc...)

I mirrored a forum last night, and now some of the threads have thousands of
views, wheras before, they had perhaps a hundred or less...

The "Links scanned" said something like "12,000/345,000" after about 6 hours.
I KNOW there aren't that many pages in the forum - there are perhaps 120
threads, most of them 4 or 5 replies long. Is it because of all the internal
links that weren't filtered out which point to other threads or somewhere else
in the same thread?
