6. Any software - as long as it has an .exe or .msi installer. And no, it
didn't require a restart.

8. There is no such addon in IE - even if there was, as I don't use IE as a
browser, and didn't have a browser open at the time of using WinHTTrack and
installing the program, it wouldn't have any effect
9. I've ticked it
10. Unticked it, but see explanation for #8 - I can't see what this should
make any difference...

Bug still occurs.
