I've also noticed the same behavior with WinHTTrack Website Copier 3.40.  .htm
files are stored as .html locally such that the local site copy can't be
browsed.  Is there a way to make the local files stored with the same filename
and extension? Or perhaps have the urls rewritten to match the stored copied
files?
