D'accord, Xavier - you'll force a poor old PHP/MySQL-webmaster to go for the
hard way and try C++ for a change...

Could you recommend me a C++ compiler that runs under WinXP for a
straight-forward implementation of what you suggest on your page plug.html? 

My hope is that I can do it tinkering with some h-files and gcc on a
command-line...?
