Isn't there an option to include comments
in the re-written HTML source code such as:

<!-- This page was archived from %s at %s %s -->

... or something to that effect?  The first %s,
I believe, records the original URL.  The latter
ones print the date and time.  You don't have to
include them if you don't want to - you can make
up a custom comment line.

You should test this feature yourself to see if
I have described it correctly.
