This is more serious: a compiler bug in release mode caused the cache not to
be used at all (the getHtsOptBuff_() inlined function caused the problem
apparently, as it was apparently *very* badly inlined by the compiler)

Should be fixed in 3.41-2

Sorry for the build glitches - most of the tests were done in debug mode, and
the bug was only appearing in the final build (which was not tested enough)

Can you give some feedback on this -2 "emergency" release please ?
