Subject: Why did it delete almost everything it downloaded?

I did a site mirror and set the time limit as 1800 secs. When it hit the limit,
the log reported:

HTTrack Website Copier/3.41-2 mirror complete in 30 minutes 1 seconds : 2010
links scanned, 1643 files written (47747934 bytes overall), 1627 files updated
[17204385 bytes received at 9552 bytes/sec], 47393097 bytes transfered using
HTTP compression in 1645 files, ratio 34%, 64.2 requests per connection

(No errors, 24 warnings, 5560 messages)

Looks good, right? except that the total size of the site on disk was only
1.77MB!!!! In other works, it downloaded 47MB of data and deleted 96% of it. I
looked shortly after I started mirroring and there were a lot of .tmp files
which are now gone.

There are no errors logged that show what happened. I have "do not delete old
files" set so it should not delete anything. There are three "More than 1800
seconds passed... giving up" errors logged; I limited it to one connection so
I expected only one message, maybe this is a clue.

Another odd thing is that the new.zip cache file is 17MB... after compression,
probably most of that 47MB downloaded is in there. But that's the only place
it is, and attempting to extract it fails because the files are stored with an
illegal path (http://...). I have over a GB free on the disk, in case you are
wondering.

Is this a known bug? Is there any way around it, and to recover the cached
data in new.zip?
