| There is no such thing as 100% security - in anything. I don't use my email
unless I have to use it. This still does not protect me completely, but makes
it more difficult for someone to get my email.
I can see only one solution: remove the statement which indicates that users'
emails are "safe." They never will be. Better yet, state that last item
explicitly: "we try, but no one's email is completely secure - use at your
own risk." I know that this is obvious to me, but many people still get
scammed by the simplest cons, even after all the years of warnings on the
Internet, so it probably bears repeating ad nauseam. | |
