whenever httrack is copying a website, my netmeter and windows XP network
packet traffic show a heavy download/upload traffic. on average the upload
traffic is about 2.5 MORE than the download traffic. eg dl - 270kb/s and ul
770kb/s.

1. why the heavy ul traffic ? i can understand the dl part, but not the heavy
ul.

2. although the dl is at 270kb/s, httrack only reports transfer rate at less
than 10kib/s ? there is no other software actively downloading/uploading
anything at the time. (verified by process explorer).

please explain anybody. tq
