I'm also having trouble with this; have managed to copy content of
password-protected pages down but am unable to browse site locally as the
script embedded in the pages requires that I be logged in.  Is there a way to
force it to appear to be "logged in" locally?  I have searched through a
number of posts about passwords but haven't seen solution for this so far.
