AFAIR the javascript embedded in the pages change on-the-fly links, which is
the probably reason why the links looks so weird.

Handling archive.org downloads is only possible with some kind of external
plugin (see callbacks-example-baselinks.c, which can be used for this purpose,
and which was used AFAIK by at least one archiving library)
