Didn't work.  I followed the whole tutorial again for form logins.  It wouldn't
work so I so unchecked "use proxy for ftp transfers" under options (needed to
do that to get the non-subscriber site DLed) and it seemed to be working -
went through the whole DL process.  But the resulting site DLed was the one
without login.
