Without a proper example, this is difficult to understand what you are trying
to do, and what is not working.

If there is a website which links to external HTML pages that you also want to
get, you could try the "Maximum external depth" option (under Limits in GUI).

Alternatively, point HTTrack to a start website, eg:
   <http://www.somewhere.com/>
Then use filters to include pages from other sites:
   +*.gif +*.jpg +www.anothersite.com/*
   +www.thirdsite.com/*
