The engine has to test links when the filetype is 
unknown (example: asp or php pages). This slows down a 
little the parsing, and therefore with pages with MANY 
links of unknown type, this can be slooow.

The latests releases (RC-6 and above) releases are a 
little smarter: each tested link successfully put in 
background will be downloaded during parsing
