I am trying to mirror a discussion forum that uses YaBB as the engine. That
program is dynamic but doesn't store the data in a database but in a directory
on the server, refering to the individual file to build the html page.

I know all messages are stored in the folder
"the_site"/yabb2/12345datafile.txt

I thought I was getting all the files but have since learned I am only getting
those on the first page and nothing from pages 2 to 32.

Can anyone help me with the correct filter to use to get all pages? 

I have been using +http://forum.site.com/*yabb2*/*
