This is the default command line that I use as first try, when I need to mirror
a website:

httrack <url(s) to archive> -O <path to save mirrored files to> -j -n -<web
adresses I don' want/*> +<web adresses I do want to include in the archiving>

example:

httrack <http://httrack.com> -O ~/090711_httrack_com -n -j -*
<http://forum.httrack.com/>*

See more at (a test of httrack I once did):
<http://www.cfi.au.dk/publikationer/archiving/webhttrack>

and read the documentation for more options:
<http://www.httrack.com/html/fcguide.html> or type in the command line:
man httrack

kind regards
