Okay, seems to work fine on Windows 2000 (no reports on Windows 98SE2 -
probably too old)

Seems okay too.

A new build of the 3.43-9 release, named "3.43-9B", is now available on
Windows/32 and Windows/64. (Identical to 3.43-9, except the compiler release)
