Subject: 3.42 shouldn't do this? (extension problem?)

I've just started using Httrack. On a site I tried, it works extremely slowly
(~2MB/minute). Since the site's HTML pages mostly have no filename extension,
this seems like a case of MIME type problems, but I thought that was solved?
If that is a possible source of the problem, how do I fix it? The manual says
what to do to, for example, set .asp files to html, but how do I set
no-extension files to html?
It records the addresses of pages that don't exist, and in at least some cases
specifies them as "0 KB". Could this be part of the MIME problem, assuming
that is occurring? If not, what might this be?
