I've been trying to get Httrack working with an old archived web forum

(sry don't know how to get the rel=nofollow working here). All i really was
trying to get is the main body of the forum. but it seems Httrack either gets
next to nothing (the site seems to forward links that confuse it) or goes off
on a wild goose chase (seemingly scanning loads of other sites linked from
that home page and still not really downloading anything). 

Any simple buttons or filters i could try? i've tried using various filters,
but i fear they're not working quite correctly.
