For a while I was looking for an application to mirror (as a backup) my private
wordpress blog on my local disk on a computer running Windows 7.
I am glad that I have found httrack. But sadly it is not working for me fully.
It looks like I am not following the right procedure.
 
When I open the downloaded index.html in IE8, it asks for username and
password and takes me to the wordpress site. 
 
I was expecting to view the wordpress blog localy and without asking me for
user name and password.
 
I looked for answers on httrack website and on the internet. So far I have not
found the answers.
 
Any help would be very much appreciated.
