Thank you for the quick response!
It is a Sitefinity 3.7 site and the URL is in the form of "[Original
Filename].sflb.ashx". Unfortunately, I can't tell from the filename alone what
the extension should be or I would just set up an auto renaming function. I
used Fiddler to look at the request and response and it is indeed sending the
correct mime types for each of the following files...
.docx =
application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document
.pptx =
application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.presentation
.xlsx = application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet
Those are the main OpenXML documents we work with, anyway. We do have older
Office documents in our Sitefinity database and they are extracted by HTTrack
without any trouble.
I'm one of the webmasters for the site. We maintain the site for our business
partners, but have to send them a copy of it to put on their internal
intranet. We use the CMS because it shares content with our own internal
intranet and it allows us to have two sites, but only enter the content once.
However, our partners do not have a license for the CMS so we're required to
send them a non-executable HTML version of the site. Overall, HTTrack is doing
a fantastic job with the conversion. This is the only problem we haven't been
able to resolve.
