That will not happen given the fact that httrack will not leave the domain of
the site (for e.g it will not go out of domain.com, even if there's a link to
test.com/xyz/ddy etc...), thus the ads wont be followed.

Just ensure the mode is 'download web sites' and not download all sites inside
the website.
