| Followed the instructions for form-based authentication here:
<http://httrack.kauler.com/help/CatchURL_tutorial>
But instead of capturing the response and the URL the login page posts to,
WinHTTrack got something else:
<http://www.google.com:443?>postfile:C:My%20Web%20Sitesgooglehts-post3">;
The content of the hts-post3 file is:
CONNECT / HTTP/1.0
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0;
EasyBits GO v1.0; InfoPath.2; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729;
OfficeLiveConnector.1.3; OfficeLivePatch.0.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET4.0C;
.NET4.0E; .NET CLR 2.0.50727)
Proxy-Connection: Keep-Alive
Content-Length: 0
Host: www.google.com
Pragma: no-cache
Based on the URL that got returned, it seems like HTTrack had trouble using
SSL during the forms authentication process which explains the
"google.com:443.
Would really appreciate any help to enable HTTrack to work through forms
authentication through SSL (similar to what a sites.google.com site uses).
Thanks in advance!
