| Hi,
I fixed the problem. So (web)httrack automatically recreates the index.html
after every successful mirroring of a website.
However, all the mirroring attempts that I did finished with a
not accessible server at ports 8081 or 8082, and the index was never rebuild
although the page was downloaded successfully.
I temporarily disabled my firewall (Fedora Linux), mirrored a page, and no
more crashes in the browser.
Its probably better to just allow httrack certain ports, I tried to allow
8080-8083 and it did not work, only the full firewall disabling.
Hope this helps somebody who ran into the same problem. | |
