| Alright William,
I am aware a simple command would override the security feature, however that
was not my question. My question is, what is a reasonable download rate (not
25Kbps) to download a website? you cant tell me the only safe way to archive a
site is at that ridiculously slow speed. What is safe for a large site hosted
say on googles blogger, how about a small site hosted on a home server, how
about a large site hosted on powerfull servers? 25Kbps seems way to slow to
realistically archive large sites without wasting months. I am trying to find
a medium where I am not burdening the server yet not waiting months to mirror
a site. Since this site is dedicated to mirroring websites using Httrack I
figured there would be some reasonable speeds posted or a guideline with more
detail to server side bandwidth then the one posted. Since the guide simply
says not to overload a server Im asking for a safe value for sites hosted in
those style environments. Is there a way to monitor that Httrack is not
overburdening the server? Those where my questions...
Thanks,
