This site could do a number of things aside loosing the message, from sending
it by mail to just print a warning above the send button. There must be a guy
not really loving httrack somewhere.

I did post a number of httrack calls, and also shell pipes that let me know
quickly how many files are missing.

httrack -C1 -%v -f2 <http://manga.animea.net/real.html> -O httrack "-*"
"+http://manga.animea.net/real*.html*[]" "+*.jpg"

This downloads about 400M in maybe 3 hrs.
Repeated calls yield strange results, with directories created on even calls
and purged on odd calls, or something like that. This feels like a bug. There
are some bogus state warnings too.
