I just found an example (not exactly like what I was 
talking about... in fact it may be a poor example, because 
this one probably wouldnt be as easy to correct).

If you try to browse to...
<http://www.njnet.edu.cn/info/ebook/network/highpernet/index>.
htm

...you well get a page not found, but if you try to browse 
to the following link (the only change is the 
capitalization in the word HighPerNet)...
<http://www.njnet.edu.cn/info/ebook/network/HighPerNet/index>.
htm

...this is similiar to the problem that I was experiencing 
with file names (rather than directories, as in my example).

Did I clear this up any, or just confuse things more? :)
