This question is not about Httrack, but rather about its discussion forum.

I have posted a number of new threads on this forum over the last 4 weeks.

Everytime, I was asked to provide a valid email address and I did. 

I assumed that this would be used to notify me when someone replied to my
thread. But I have never received any such notification.

Is this normal?
